The Mechanism of Cultural Capital

    This concept map elaborates the system of cultural capital that is defined by Pierre Bourdieu in his theory. These ideas are also the product of the recent discussion in Arts 1 class and through deepening the reflections from the readings, I was able to gather relations of concepts from Bourdieu and Williams. It encapsulates the ideologies of culture relating to how the cultural capital system works. The rules of game are also transcribed on the map wherein it came from the notion of how culture is also capitalized on in society. 

    Indeed, in the world of capitalism, every aspect of life revolves around it, but the question is, how can we make use of capitalism conforming to the notion of equalism?
